Beach resorts in the UAE

Most beautiful and luxurious beach resorts anywhere
While you may not think of the United Arab Emirates when you think of great places for beach vacations like the Caribbean, Hawaii, or French Polynesia, you may change your mind after learning about some of the best little-known beach resorts in the world.

Everyone knows that the UAE is a great destination for shopping, but not everyone knows that even in the lesser known emirates like Sharjah are some of the most beautiful and luxurious beach resorts anywhere.

The Sharjah Coral Beach Resort features a shuttle service that will take you back and forth to Dubai for those times you want to experience the more urban part of the UAE. The Coral Beach Resort is a good bet for people who want a quieter vacation with the occasional side trip to Dubai.

The Lou Lou’a Beach Resort in Sharjah is a popular destination for travelers from Russia and Germany. It has its own private slice of beach, plus golf, a pool, a restaurant, and 24-hour room service. Again, keep in mind that Sharjah is a much quieter place than Dubai.

The Sandy Beach Hotel and Resort in Fujairah has a private beach and pool. This resort is located on the Gulf of Oman on the East Coast of the UAE, unlike the resorts in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and other places on the Persian Gulf. The terrain is different, too, with mountains reaching down to the sea. The Bin Majid Beach Resort is located on the southeastern Arabian peninsula in Ras Al-Khaimah, the emirate located at the northernmost tip of the UAE. It features chalet accommodations along a private beach. It also has seven restaurants and serves alcohol. The Bin Majid has numerous sports activities and amenities you would expect on a spa vacation.

The Oceanic Hotel beach resort is located in the town of Khor Fakkan on the southeastern Arabian peninsula. The terrain features not only beaches, but mountains as well. This area is famous for having a large range of water sports, and the Oceanic Hotel offers 24-hour room service, satellite television, and restaurants serving a variety of international cuisines.

The Hotel Jal Fujairah is about an hour and a half drive from Dubai. The hotel and spa has its own beach, and all accommodations overlook the Indian Ocean. For those interested in water sports, the Hotel Jal Fujairah is near excellent diving and snorkeling in waters that are home to a large variety of marine life and coral. Restaurants feature Japanese, Arabic, Asian, or International cuisine. The hotel features quiet amenities like a tea lounge and a library, but evenings are lively in the club featuring Arabic music and dance.

The Kempinski Hotel Ajman has a private beach and 183 rooms with sea views. The hotel’s beach club features a fitness gym, health spa, and aerobics studio. Bowling, water sports, and diving are also available on-site. The resort has barbecue nights on the beach, cocktail receptions, and offers frequent daily shuttle service to Dubai and also Sharjah.

Dubai Marine Beach Hotel Resort and Spa is a five-star resort in Dubai. It has a private beach in a beautiful setting. The resort has been open since 1989 and has become an extremely popular beach resort. With a top quality restaurant and facilities for corporate guests and vacationers, the Dubai Marine Beach Resort is close to Dubai International Airport, shopping malls, and Dubai Creek Golf Club.

The Royal Mirage resort in Dubai is a landmark on Jumeira Beach, with 60 acres of landscaped grounds, with its own section of beach. The resort also has temperature controlled pools, tennis, golf, and water sports. This resort has numerous dining options, facilities for catering up to 350 guests in its Royal Ballroom.

Le Meridien Abu Dhabi is convenient to businesses and shopping areas, and has its own beach and pool as well as 15 restaurants and bars. It is located on lush, landscaped grounds, and is well suited for either business or vacationing guests.

The Beach Rotana Hotel and Towers resort in Abu Dhabi is modern and opulent. It is also located in the center of Abu Dhabi’s business and shopping districts. The Beach Rotana has a private beach, and an exclusive passageway directly linking the hotel to the Abu Dhabi Mall, which is filled with great shopping, movie houses, and many other entertainment options.

The Hotel Intercontinental Abu Dhabi five star beach resort is on the shores of the Arabian Gulf and only seven minutes from the city center. Complimentary breakfast is served, as are all day snacks. Thai, Italian, and Brazilian cuisines are only three of a large selection, and the resort has 24-hour room service. There is also a 24-hour gym, a pool, tennis and squash courts, as well as a private beach and marina.
